02 / Design intent

Affordable by design

The project explores whether a robotic arm can be developed with 3D-printable components and a relatively inexpensive microcontroller. Keeping the total cost below €50 is a design constraint rather than a documented result.

The mechanical layout is being refined alongside the first printed parts. Actuator selection and movement performance will be documented once they have been tested.

03 / Electronics

Arduino Nano–based system

The electronics are planned around Arduino Nano. Circuit design, control software and system testing remain part of the ongoing development.

A number of components have already been printed and the physical assembly has begun. The complete system is not finished.
